MN Vijayakumar IAS, has assumed charge as Administrator , CADA, Belgaum today morningi.e. on 6/8/07. After assuming charge and collectng information , the bad iintention with which he has been posted to Belgaum has been confirmed. In spite of his repeated requests in writing, no arrangements were made when he reached Belgaum airport. The minimum facilities given to any officer under transfer were denied to him.
Out of the last 22 persons who have been posted as Administrators, 20 were engineers . Of the only two IAS officers, one had voluntarily sought the posting as Administrator to help his children's education and the other officer was posted as his wife was working as DC, Belgaum. Both DC, Belgaum and her husband have been transferred back to Bangalore together recently. MN Vijaykumar is the only IAS officer who has been posted against his interest that too when his life is under threat and after lodging a complaint with the Lokayukta against Sri. P.B.Mahishi IAS, the Chief Secretary. The present posting has been made to increase the threat to both MN Vijayakumar at Belgaum and to me here in Bangalore.
